Music Notation Software written for musicians by musicians
Spring sale - save £24 on Music Publisher!
Music Publisher is a professional quality music notation software system for all 32- and 64-bit Windows platforms.
Focussed entirely on the printed page it is above all a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get visual system.
Music Publisher is as easy to use as picking up some manuscript paper and a pen. It doesn't get in your way and force you through
hoops.
If you want a particular effect on your score which "breaks" the rules of music then Music Publisher will not argue!
Above all it produces the notation you want to see and does not impose its own rules.
But of course, if you request it then it will help with advice and operations such as Neatening and various Tidying tools.
Just one example: If you've ever tried to produce exercises with other software - for instance notes with no barlines, and maybe even stemless notes - then
you'll appreciate the way Music Publisher just lets you put down what you want to see. Yet its total flexibility makes it the ideal software for compositions
from single-stave music to massive multi-stave opera scores.
In fact one customer bought the software because he was writing a book on notation and couldn't find any software which would let him produce
incorrect musical excerpts for the reader to change!
If you regard yourself as more of a musician than a computer person, then don't be afraid that Music Publisher is going to be hard going.
Many customers write to us expressing delight at its ease of use and saying that 'It thinks like I do!'
But at some stage you will need to know how to produce a certain effect. So we have put a great amount of assistance within the program.
And in any case once registered you are entitled to unlimited support with the program. You can get help by email, phone or mail.

Music Publisher Standard Edition (£75 or $115) is our music notation software that
allows you to write music, print it, edit, play and transpose it and export MIDI files and Word documents.
But there are many other operations from extracting parts from master scores to producing musical insertions for your Word Processor or Desk Top Publishing program.
Music Publisher Scanning Edition (£150 or $230) has the same features as the Standard Edition
but also has the ability to take input from your scanner rather than typing in the music.
Unlike most music software scanning packages it is seamlessly integrated into the Music Publisher system and does not
need you to run other software. Just put some printed music on your scanner and you can capture the notation straight
into the package.
Transposing existing sheet music.
Many people buy the Scanning Edition in order to transpose existing printed music. Just scan, transpose and
reprint. It really works! See our Audio-Visual demonstrations to watch it in action.
